I am a 40+ mother to 2 girls and married to my best friend for the past 15 years. I love personal development, helping others and have grand scale empathy for people who struggle. I have eaten and napped my way through ugly postpartum depression, anxiety after job loss and general unhappiness. I spent years miserable because I didn’t recognize my worth and stopped using my voice. I am here as proof you can work through all of it! Small incremental changes and lots of grace will help you achieve your best self and the strength to pursue whatever you can dream. It starts with saying YES to your HEALTH!

There are 3 themes throughout my studies and my experience when it comes to

self improvement, especially weight loss.

It won’t be easy!

You are going to have to SWEAT it out to have success. Things are going to get uncomfortable…feel good growth happens outside your comfort zone. You will have to make sacrifices, get up earlier, plan your meals, not eat dessert every time you want, try new activities and SWEAT in places you didn’t think were possible. The list is limitless depending on your personal goals.   

 

Look for the positive!

Yes, you need to recognize all the little things you are doing right. Take a second to feel thankful, grateful and blessed. SMILE at your beautiful self! Celebrate your success and share your progress. You would be surprised at how many cheerleaders you have in your life!

 

Develop good habits!

REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT. Ever heard the word consistency when achieving goals? All high achievers have this in common. They have a routine of consistent behaviors or best practices that guarantee results. You, too, can achieve your goals with repeated efforts! This is where the magic happens and the personal transformation finally becomes tangible.
